Cards Cafe is a cozy card room with three kinds of game. Durak, throw-in and transfer, against three bots with character or with friends at a table for up to four. Four classic solitaires for when you would rather play alone. And backgammon with long nardy, against the same three regulars.
Throw-in, Transfer · With bots or friends, up to 4 at a table
Durak is the card game every family in Eastern Europe knows: attack with a card, beat it with a higher one of the same suit or a trump, and don't be the one left holding cards. Play it one-on-one against a bot, at a table of three or four, or online with friends by sending them a link.
The solitaires are Klondike (every deal can be won), FreeCell (all cards face up, no luck involved), TriPeaks (clear three peaks in long chains) and Spider (one, two or four suits). Each one keeps your record, so there is always a time or a win rate to beat.
Backgammon comes in both its forms: the short game with hitting and the bar, played from Istanbul to London, and long nardy, where all fifteen checkers start on the head and nobody is ever hit. Both follow the official rules, against the café’s three bots.
Yes. Every game is free, with no ads, no chips or stakes and no sign-up. It runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, and keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
Durak in both classic versions, throw-in (podkidnoy) and transfer (perevodnoy), and four solitaires: Klondike, FreeCell, TriPeaks and Spider. And backgammon with long nardy, against the same three bots.
In Durak, yes: open "Friends online", send the link, and up to four people sit at your table. The solitaires are single-player games. Backgammon is against the café’s bots for now; a table for a friend is on its way.
